All of our renewable energy sources are “Bucket 1 Bundled” Resources, meaning that the renewable electricity we purchase (even from windfarms in New Mexico) is routed directly to California. As a policy, Santa Barbara Clean Energy does not purchase unbundled renewable energy credits, so 100% Green customers can rest assured that their energy is in fact 100% Green.
